About East School

East School is the smallest elementary school in Zion School District 6. East School enrollment typically ranges between 170-190 students each year. East School is a neighborhood school that does not receive busing transportation.

Due to the small size of East School, East only has one section of each grade level. The beauty of being a small school is that all of the adults at East School know all of the students personally. East School often refers to itself as the “East School Family because of these close relationships with students and parents.

East school has many programs and opportunities for students. In addition to the numerous sports teams, East School also has before school and after school homework/tutoring help for students. Students at East School are also eligible to join the Boys and Girls Club Afterschool Program.

If you would like to know more about East School and all of their wonderful programs, please contact the school principal, Mrs. Jodie Moss. She would be happy to speak with you and answer any questions that you might have about East School.
